Why Choose Hynosis?The use of Hypnosis can be traced back at least 4000 years. It has long since be recognised as a very powerful tool for personal development and change. Hypnosis is a naturally occuring state which we all experience on a daily basis. It is when we naturally drift into a state of heightened relaxation or what we term an altered state of awareness.
When we are deeply relaxed in Hypnosis, it gives the therapist the chance to communicate with the unconscious Mind of the subject. The Unconscious mind is responsible for governing all our emotions and therefore almost all of our behaviours. Communicating with the subconscious mind, gives a powerful tool to promote change and well being.
Will I be Asleep?
The Answer to this is no, you will be pleasantly and deeply relaxed but not asleep. You will be aware throughout the therapy session.
What does it feel like?
It is a pleasant and enjoyable state. You are very deeply relaxed, you feel calm and at peace. It is similar to day dreaming or the feeling of drifting off to sleep. You will feel very relaxed and positive after and many people find an improvement in the quality of their sleep.
Can everyone be hypnotised?
Yes, but not if you don't want to be. However, the depth and response level varies from person to person.
I don't Like the idea of not being in control
You will be in control at all times. You will be protected by your normal code of ethics and beliefs, which protect you as an individual everyday of your life.
Will I be made to do silly things, like you see on shows on the TV?
No, of course not. At my practice you will be treated in confidence and with the utmost respect. You have taken the decision to make a change in your life and it is my job to help you achieve those changes.
Can you guarantee me results?
